Historia

El aeropuerto fue fundado en 1995.[1]​ Se encuentra a unos dieciséis kilómetros al sur de Eldoret.

Actualmente el aeropuerto tiene tres vuelos regulares de carga internacional y varios vuelos chárter de carga.
