Sinfonía n.º 87 (Haydn)

La Sinfonía n.º 87 en la mayor, Hoboken I/87, es la última sinfonía de las llamadas Sinfonías de París compuesta por Joseph Haydn en 1786.

Estructura

La sinfonía sigue la forma estándar de cuatro movimientos y está compuesta para flauta, dos oboes, dos fagotes, dos trompas, bajo continuo (clavecín) y sección de cuerdas. Consta de los siguientes movimientos:

  1. Vivace, 4/4
  2. Adagio, 3/4 in D major
  3. Menuet e trio, 3/4
  4. Finale: Vivace, 2/2

La principal característica del trío del minueto es el solo de oboe que sobrepasa el mi agudo.[1]​
